Great GI Tool

Great tool to help maintain a healthy diet with someone that has type2 diabetes.

Helpful Tool

I found the tool very good in monitoring gi/gl levels. However it would be nice to have a barcode scanner, ability to edit food entries, and % labels for carb/protien/fat pie chart

Nice App

Im enjoying the up to the minute control this app provides when I <enter> foods Im considering. Its begun to help shape my choices to more healthy alternatives. It not only informs, its a reminder of how many times we have the opportunity to make a real difference by the food choices we make daily.

Pointless if you eat gluten free

There are no gluten free items listed. Cannot search brand name of many products. No ability to add by barcode. Great idea but needs more products.

Easy to measure your input of foods

Being able to get a picture of my health is very informative. I can make choices that allow me the dignity of providing for my well being. I like being able to add food choices that are not listed, as I eat organic and natural. As such, Im aware of the impact of my choices which are higher in healthy qualities of consumed products. This feature gives me clear results of the impact of my diet on my health. The flexible input and the results allow for better understanding of the impact of my choices. I feel this is an excellent tool.

Waste of money

Bought this app specifically to search for coconut milk, a very common food item, and you dont have that info. You have the info for every coconut candy, pie, or cake ever made, but not plain coconut milk? Ridiculous!!!! Completely disappointed

SIMPLE BUT AWESOME

Great App.. Dont understand why it has any bad reviews..

Low GI

I love this app! I needed something where I could track my Caleries carbs and GI and this does it all. Plus its easy!

Excellent Program

It is an easy to use program to track glycemic index and load. Excellent database.

Terrible!

This ap doesnt even recognize Almond Butter! Its awful. How do I get a refund?

Ok but can do with a non complex make over

So many simple foods not even listed and yet crazy brand name foods are... Not being able to save a meal or duplicate is a pain... also not being able to change quantity is a pain. Why delete a good then go back in and list it again. Also need a quick spellcheck listing because not only is pomegranate hard to spell its not even on the list. Neither are pinenuts or bison as a meat option- (lose it, has these options and is free) I hope to see simple changes but not big complicated changes-

Not happy

No bar code to search. Very cumbersome to use. Awkward data base. App will not accept poor star rating by denying nickname as already in use

Excellent app

Very helpful and useful. I little cumbersome to navigate but its bearable.

Terrible- dont waste your money

Tried to enter my morning smoothie- Almond milk: not in database, but 47 varieties of Hersheys milk chocolate with almonds topped the list. Searched for protein powder; no hits, but powdered donuts made the list! Useless.

Does not sync

While I love the app and its easy to use format, it is somewhat disappointing that it does not sync from my phone to iPad. 5 stars if it did.

Okay app, missing foods

This app is rather clunky for the price. Lots of clicking. Very disappointed that falafel and hummus are not in the foods list. Feeling a little ripped off.

Great idea, but app needs work

This app has been great at helping me become more aware of foods that I eat that have a high gi. However, I am disappointed that I cant save frequently consumed foods and meals. I eat the exact same breakfast 6 days out of 7, but I have to search for each part of it every single morning if I want to update my food log. Also- not sure why there are so many junky foods listed (Aunt Jemima syrup, chocolate milk shake), but not real foods (maple syrup, skim milk). Well...skim milk is there, but you have to really search. Overall...sorry to say, I kind of wish Id kept my money. I cant imagine re-entering everything daily for months after month. Hopefully improvements will be made soon! :)

Really helpful!

I need to keep my glycemic load low because I have a condition called PCOS. This has really been helping me with doing that.

An app for teetototalers

No listings for basic wine- white or red? And when you search for alcoholic drinks it only gives you only non-alcoholic listings? Missing lots of of other popular foods such as uncooked kale. Needs updating

Very good

I find this app a excellent resource. Helps keep me on tract.
